Contoh Naskah Drama Bahasa Inggris - My Queen is A Gumiho

Assalamu'alaikum sahabat.

Pada postingan acak kali ini saya akan membagikan contoh naskah drama berbahasa Inggris yang pernah kami mainkan sewaktu SMA dulu, sekitar tahun 2013 atau 2014 yang lalu. Naskah ini merupakan tulisan dari saya sendiri di tahun yang sama, jadi mohon maaf jika ada kalimat yang kurang berkenan secara tatanan bahasa, maklum modal nekat dan percaya diri dengan kemampuan vocab dan grammar yang ala kadarnya, hehe. 

Adapun judul dari drama kali ini adalah My Queen is A Gumiho. Masih terpengaruh dengan  gaya kekorean-koreaan, tapi tentu dengan alur suka-suka tanpa berdasarkan fakta sejarah atau kebudayaan Negara Ginseng itu ya sahabat. Ya terkategori fiksi lah, ya. Drama ini dimainkan untuk memenuhi tugas praktik Bahasa Inggris yang dibimbing oleh Mam Syamsiah (Mam Cuncun) di SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi, Kepulauan Meranti. Riau. 

Baik tanpa memperpanjang mukaddimah, silahkan dibaca naskah drama berikut, boleh dipakai untuk penampilan dikelas juga ya adik-adik. Semoga bermanfaat ^^

MY QUEEN IS A GUMIHO ????

A thousands years before, in The Joseon Kingdom, there is a big warfare than ever. China Kingdom, who was kept under all of region in South Korea, want to reattack this territory. But, King Se-jong, who regnant Joseon Kingdom at that time, won’t  yieldingly quickly. So, the war can’t be avoidable. Many solders from Joseon died in this war. The crown price of this Kingdom was disappear in the forest. But finaly, they can hold on and defend their kingdom however their King is unsaveable. 

In the forest

China’s Knight : “Hey, Prince ! Stop run and fight to me ! Stop !” (Run after the Prince)

Prince In-Woo  : (Still running)

In the side of canyon, the Prince can’t go wherever.

China’s Knight : “Hahaha, you can’t run from me again, Prince. Now, accept  your death !” (Shoot the Prince)

Prince In-Woo  : (Down to the canyon)

In Joseon palace

After lose her husband and her son, the Queen of Joseon, Queen In-Soo being so sad.

Queen In-Soo : “Oh My God. My husband was died to depend his Kingdom, and now my son was gone. Nobody can find him.” (Crying)

Princess Jin-Yi : “My Queen, I know you are so afraid that something will be to Prince In-Woo. But I’m sure that In-Woo will be safe wherever he be.”

Queen In-Soo : “Thank you Jin-Yi ya. I hope so. But what must I do to this Kingdom and all of people ? We can’t live without a King. Must I appoint In-Woo’s cousin as the new King ? ”

Princess Jin-Yi : “Do not ! Ah, I’m sorry My Queen, I mean please don’t do that. I certain that Prince In-Woo will go back in the short time. How about you reign this Kingdom until he come back ? It’s will never be long time.”

Queen In-Soo : “I’m undertsand.” (cough down)

Lady-in-waiting : “My Queen, let I accompany you to your bed. You must get enough rest. I will not let you got sick, My queen.”

Queen : “Yes, you’re right. Let’s go” (Go out)

In a little while..

Lady-in-waiting : “Princess, why you suggest The Queen reign the Kingdom ? I’m sure if you say yes when she talk about Prince In-Woo’s cousin be the next king, she will do it as soon as possible.”

Princess Jin-Yi : “What is my profit ? I want be the Queen of this Kingdom. In-Woo is my fiance, so why I want other people be the King ?!” (Angry)

Lady-in-waiting : “But, the cousin of Prince In-Woo is single, you can be his wife and be the Queen quickly.”

Princess Jin-Yi : “Nope ! I just want to be In-Woo’s wife !”

Lady-in-waiting : “But, how if the Prince will never find ?”

Princess Jin-Yi : “Close your mouth and stop to talk about it if you wish to yet in life ! Understand ? ” (Go out)

Lady-in-waiting : “Why she be so angry ? I just extend my opinion. Aish, really !” (Go out)

In the forest

At noon, a girl named Yoon So-hwa walked in the forest to collect the dill (medicine plants). But in her way, a man who ridden on the land made stare her.

So-Hwa : “Excuse me, Sir. Sir.. Sir..” (try to recall him to life) “Oh My God ! It’s so serious injury ! Sir.. Can you hear me ? What must I do ?”

The man in way to go home gone accross her.

So-Hwa : “Excuse me, Sir. May you help me to see back this man to my house, please ?”

The Man : “Ouh, yes, of course miss.” (hold the prince)

In front of So-Hwa’s house,

So-Hwa : “Let him here, Sir.”

The Man : (Let him on the bed) “Who is this man, miss ? Is this man your brother ?”

So-Hwa : “Oh.. Um.. Y y yes. He is my brother.”

The Man : “Yeah, there is no problem if he is your brother. You know ? It’s so danger now if you let foreign man in your house. Criminals can be anywhere. By the way, how can he injured like this ?”

So-Hwa : “Ah.. He fallen from hillside when go to collect the dill with me.”

The Man : “Okay, I must go home now.”

So-Hwa : “Yes, thank you so much, Sir.” (Let the man go to the door and come back again) 

“Who is this man ? How can he injured like this ?” (Make a medicine and put it on Prince’s chest) 

“I hope it can save you. Ah..!” (bow to listen the breath of Prince) 

“Hah ? He will be dying now. His breath so slowly and heavy. What must I do ?” (Thinking and take a small ball outside from her mouth to the Prince) 

“I’ll be so weak after this. I hope there is nothing happen until full moon is coming”

After help that man, So-Hwa be unconscious. And the next day, she take care the Prince carefully until he coming through. And after about a month he rest in So-Hwa, the Prince thought that he must go home to the palace now. One day, he say his plan to So-Hwa.

So-Hwa : “In-Woo ya, this is red ginseng. Do yo know? This ginseng is  scarce and will not find by random people.”

Prince In-Woo : “Are you sure ?.. Waahh.”

So-Hwa : “Of course. And this is areal root of white ginseng which age is about 50-70 years old.”

Prince In-Woo : “Really ? How old this plant”

So-Hwa : “And it is a Binahong leaf.”

Prince In-Woo : “Binahong?”

So-hwa : “Yeah, and I was used it to treat your injury before.”

Prince In-Woo : “Really ? Umm, So-Hwa ssi ?”

So-Hwa : “Um ?”

Prince In-Woo : “I think this is a time to go back to my home. I think I’m better now. My Mother must be so afraid and miss her son now.”

So-Hwa : “When ? When you will go back to your house ?”

Prince In-Woo : “Tomorrow.”

So-Hwa : “Ah.. I’m Understand.”

Prince In-Woo : “So-Hwa ssi, if you want, you can follow me to my village. May be I’m not a rich man, but I promise I will be your side forever if you go and live with me there.”

So-Hwa : “I want, but I can’t.”

Prince In-Woo : “Why ? Have you love other people ?”

So-Hwa : “No ! I just can’t go anywhere in this month. I must live here.”

At night, So-Hwa take her ‘Live Ball’ out from the Prince furtively. In the next day, the Prince go back to the palace without So-Hwa.

Prince In-Woo : “I promise, I’ll back here again and bring you back with me at that time.”

So-Hwa : “Good bye. I’ll wait you here.”

In Joseon Palace.

Queen In-Soo : “It’s about a month we live without new king. My son still be lost. I don’t know how can I reign this Kingdom for any longer.”

Princess Jin-Yi : “Be patience, My Queen. I’m sure In-Woo will be back again.”

Lady-in-waiting : My Queen, Prince In-Woo coming and want to meet you.”

Queen In-Soo : “In-Woo ya ? Let him inside !” (standing)

Lady-in-waiting : “Yes, My Queen.”

Prince In-Woo : “Mother !” (run to the Queen)

Princess Jin-Yi : “Prince In-Woo !”

Queen In-Soo : “In-Woo ya ! From where you are, my son ? We search you everywhere but we can’t find you.”

Prince In-Woo : “A man from China chased after me to the forest, Mother. And I fall to the ravine. But someone had saved me so I can go back here again.”

Queen In-Soo : “Thanks God.”

Prince In-Woo : “Where is My King, Mother ? Where is my Father ? I really miss him.”

Queen In-Soo : “Your... Father.. is.. Pass away.” (crying)

Prince In-Woo : “Wh..What ? Pass away ? Why ? Why ?”

Princess Jin-Yi : “He pass away respectfully. In battlefield to defend his Kingdom”

Queen In-Soo : “My son, this is the time that you must replace your Father to be the next king of our Kingdom.”

Prince In-Woo : “I’ll accept my assignment, Mother”

Queen In-Soo : “You ! Call the Castle Spiritualist !”

Lady-in-waiting : “Yes, My Queen”

In a little while..

Lady-in-waiting : “My Queen, the Castle Spiritualist coming.”

Queen In-Soo : “Let him inside !”

C. Spiritualist : (gave the salute) “Prince In-Woo, I’m really happy can meet you again”

Queen In-Soo : “Spiritualist, I want you look for when the precise time to announce people abaut our new King ?”

C. Spiritualist : (peer at Prince In-Woo) “My Queen, according to my sight, all of the days in Prince In-Woo are good. But I suggest you to do this in this month.”

Queen In-Soo : “Really ? We will do the appoinment ceremony a week again. We must do this quickly.”

A week later, Prince Seo In-Woo has been a valid King of Joseon. His mother, Queen In-Soo and Princess Jin-Yi congratulete him.

Queen Mother : “My King, congratulation. I hope you can reign this Kingdom wisely.”

The King : “Yes, I’ll do my best, Mother.”

Princess Jin-Yi : “Congratulation, My King.”

The King : (nod)

Queen Mother : “Ah, My King, you said that someone had saved you before. Who had saved you my son ? We must give big reward to your rescuer.”

The King : “Never in question, Mother. I’ll invite her to this palace in next short time.”

Queen Mother : “Her ? Someone that had saved you is a girl ?”

The King : “Yes, Mother.”

Queen Mother : “We can make her be a chief of lady-in-waiting here.”

The King : “Lady-in-waiting ? I’ll make her my wife, Mother. She so beautiful and kind heart. And it is important because I’ve make a promise to her.”

(Princess Jin-Yi look so shock)

Queen Mother : “My King, In-Woo ya, are you forget that you have a fiancee ? Princess Jung Jin-Yi is your fiancee since you was child. How can you want to get married with other girl ?”

The King : “She is not my fiancee. You and Father was arrange that engagement. I will never love her ! So how can I take her in marriage ?” 

(Princess Jin-Yi go out)

Queen Mother : “My King, please think it again. You can’t ignore Princess Jin-Yi like that.”

The King : “To show my respect in your choise, I’ll make her my concubine. One and only. I will not make other girl be my concubine. Please don’t hoped that I’ll make her be my queen. I will invite So-Hwa here in this week to planning our wedding. I hope you agree with my decision. Only her, the girl who will be my Wife, my Queen. One and only her”

A days later, So-hwa invited by The King to go to the Palace. She didn’t know that Seo In-Woo, a man that she knew up till know is her King now. 

Lady-in-waiting : “My King, Yoon So-Hwa is coming and want to meet you.”

The King : “Let her inside.”

So-Hwa : (gave the salute and be so suprised when she see the face of her King) “I..I..In..In-Woo ssi ?”

The King : (Smile) “Is that the way to speaking to your King, So-Hwa ssi ?”

So-Hwa : “Is this the fact ? You are the King ? And a man who I helped a month ago is The Prince ?”

The King : “Yes, this is the fact of my live. Let me shown arround you in my Palace. I’ll tell you more about my self later.

At the other place.

Lady-in-waiting : “Princess, our King meet that girl from the village now.”

Princess Jin-Yi : “I promise, I will retook my position from that lowgrade girl ! Yoon So-Hwa ! ” (Angry)

Lady-in-waiting: “Princess, I will faithful to you. You can order me do everything, I will do that. I will support you no matter when.”

Princess Jin-Yi : “Yeah, I’ll need your help in the next time.”

A month after get married with The King, So-Hwa, The Queen of Joseon now, feel so nervous. Today is full moon. As her habit, she must drink a blood in this time. If not, she will turn be a Gumiho and all people will know her real identity. To reduce her nervous, she go out from her room.

The Queen : “Hah.. Hah..” (Narrow) “What will happen to me now ? I can’t  hold ground again.”

(Someone give her a cup of blood)

The Queen : “Castle Spiritualist ? What is this ?”

C. Spiritualist : “This is something that you need now, My Queen”

The Queen : (Smell it and be shock) “Blood ?”

C. Spiritualist : (Nod) “Chicken’s. Drink it first and I’ll tell you what happened”

The Queen : (Drink it) “How.. how can you now ?”

C. Spiritualist : “I’m the Spiritualist, remember it ? I can know who are you in the fact”

The Queen : “You’ve told The King ?”

C. Spiritualist : “No, I have not.”

The Queen : “Why ?”

C. Spiritualist : “I know that you really love to our King, I’m sure that you will not injure him. And this fact, The King must realize it by himself.”

The Queen : “By himself ?”

C. Spiritualist : (Nod) “I will be here and bring you this every full moon. Don’t be afraid again. Just come here, drink it, and go back to do your assignment as the Queen. I’ll do this if you promised that you will not search it at other time and make this Palace be uproar.”

The Queen : “I just need it once, every full moon.”

C. Spiritualist : “I’m understand. So, I’ll go now, My Queen. Good Night.”

The Queen : “Can I believe him ?” (Go to her room)

Day after day, Joseon still growing rapidly. It becouse, their King reign them so wisely. Their Queen so kind hearted and virtuos. She oft visit the villages to talk and discussed what is their requirement at that time. But Lady Jin-Yi will never settle for her position now. She always seeking a way to lay aside The Queen.

Lady Jin-Yi : “What must I do now ? That girl increasingly valuable by the people.”

Lady-in-waiting : “The King seen so love her, Mam. Everyday he will prepare his time to meet The Queen. So jealously !”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Hya ! How can you feel jealous ? That’s must me ! You jus a attendant !”

Lady-in-waiting : “Yes, I’m sory, Ma’am.”

Lady Jin-Yi : “If I can’t get the love of King, it must be valid to other people !! You must search all information of the Queen and tell me if you  find something suspiciously ! Understand ?!”

Lady-in-wait : “Umm, Mam. I’ve seen The Queen go out in midnight. But I don’t know from where she is.”

Lady Jin-Yi : “At midnight ? Alone ?”

Lady-in-waiting : “Yes, Ma’am. It’s so suspiciosly.”

Lady Jin-Yi : “When you last looked her ?”

Lady-in-waiting : “Just now, as she passed with The King this morning.”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Oh My God ! I mean, when the last time you looked her go out in midnight, what a stupid !”

Lady-in-waiting : “Ah.. at last month, I think at that moment the moon in full moon phase, Ma’am”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Full moon phase ?” (thinking) “Aren’t we will meet her in this night, right ?” (sarcastic smile)

Lady-in-waiting : “Ah, yes ! Today is a full moon. So what we will do, Ma’am?”

Lady Jin-Yi : “We’ll watch what will her do tonight.”

Lady-in-waiting : “Ah..” (smiling)

In the night, Lady Jin-Yi with her assistant  sneaked out and going under ground to known about what will their Queen do tonight. After a few moments be hidden and wait up the arrival of the Queen, they heard that someone is walk the way of their location.

Lady-in-waiting : “Come here, Ma’am !” (hiding)

The Queen : “Where is the Spiritualist ?”

C. Spiritualist : “I’m sorry I’m late, My Queen.”

The Queen : “You know that I can’t refrain my self from the blood again. I’ll change into Gumiho configuration if the full moon be closed by te cloud. Hurry up, before someone will be looking at  we !”

C. Spiritualist : “Here it is, My Queen.”

The Queen : (Drinking) “Thank you, I’ll go now.”

C. Spiritualist : (gave the salute and go)

Lady Jin-Yi : “The Queen is a Gumiho ? Do you hear that ? Our Queen is a Gumiho, she is a Monster !”

Lady-in-waiting: “Y.. yes..yes, Ma’am. What that will be like our Kingdom if The Queen is a Monster ? She’ll kill all people in this Palace.”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Yeah, we must do something before she do that most evil plan !”

Lady-in-waiting : “But, what can we do, Ma’am ?”

Lady Jin-Yi : “We must show to the people, especially The King, that a woman who he loved so much is a Monster. Tomorrow, I’ll find the way to show who is her in the truth. And you, find a way to take her through in the evening, at that time, we’ll do our plan. Understand ?”

Lady-in-waiting : “I’m undertsand, Ma’am.

In the next day, Lady Jin-Yi talk to the Castle Spiritualist.

Lady Jin-Yi :  “Spiritualist, my Mother in Yuan feel that someone want to kill her. Every night she always awake because worried of that. She believe that someone around her want to injure her. And she know, that person isn’t real human, but she has not a way to proof it. Do you know something to help her ? I’m really worried of her condition.”

C. Spiritualist : “I’m understand. I’ve something that can use to convert all people or evil become to what their really are. Threw this powder to them, and they will turn quickly. I hope it can help your mother, Ma’am.”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Thank you so much, Spiritualist. It will help us.”

C. Spiritualist : “I’ll go now. Excused me, Ma’am.” (gave the salute and go)

Lady Jin-Yi : “Just wait for me, My beloved Queen, and I’ll help you to tell all people who are you in the truth.”

In the evening..

Lady-in-waiting : “Excused me, My Queen. Our King called you to go out with him now.”

The Queen : “Now ? What for ?”

Lady-in-waiting : “I’m sorry but I don’t know anything, My Queen”

The Queen : “It’s okay. Let me go to meet him.”

A few moments later

The Queen : “Where is The King ? Is this the correct location ?”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Of course, but you must meet me first, My Queen.”

The Queen : “Lady Jin-Yi ? What behoof ?”

Lady Jin-Yi : “I’ve something to give for you, My Queen. But before I give it to you, I want you to know that I do this because you was take things that should be mine.”

The Queen : “What do you mean ?”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Don’t play possum, My Queen. You’ve grabbed my husband, my love, my position !”

The Queen : “That just a misunderstand, Lady Jin-Yi. I..”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Don’t say anything ! And its be more bad when I know who are you in the truth !”

The Queen : “What do you mean ? Who am I in the truth ?”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Give me that thing !”

The Queen : “What will you do ?” (try to run)

Lady Jin-Yi : “Hold her !”

The Queen : “Lady Jin-Yi ! You’ll regret it later !”

Lady Jin-Yi : (Threw the powder)

Suddenly, The King arrive there and The Queen run to fight shy off him.

The King : “Is that The Queen, Lady Jin-Yi ?”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Yes, My King. I think she need you now. You must run after her and cheer up The Queen. Hurry up, My King !”

The King : (Run)

Lady Jin-Yi : “Will you run to her again if you know who are The Queen in the truth, My King ? You just mine, I’ll never let you be her !”

In other place..

The King : “My Queen, where are you ?” (look up and down) “My Queen, aren’t you ?”

The Queen : (Crying) “Don’t draw to me !”

The King : “What’s the problem, My Queen ?”

The Queen : “Don’t come a near, please. I can’t meet you now. I’m sorry because I haven’t told you before. I’m sorry..” (appear to The King)

The King : “M..my..My Queen ? This really you, So-Hwa ssi ? ”

The Queen : “I..I’m.. Actually I’m a Gumiho and I change to my configuration because of the powder that lady Jin-Yi threw to me before. I.. I.. I’m a monster, but I can’t told you the truth. I’m sorry, My King.. Apologize me.”

Suddenly, people in the Palace be so uproar because Lady Jin-Yi and her assistance told them about The Queen. And they become so angry and hunt for her.

All : “Chase The Queen away ! Chase The Queen away !”

The Queen : “I’ll accept my punnishment. I will not go anywhere.”

The King : “Don’t be so stupid, they will kill you if they find you ! Follow me !”

They run and hiding in the room. But unsuspected, Lady Jin-Yi being in that room. 

Lady Jin-Yi : (draw the Queen’s hand) “Where will you go ? You’ll dead now !” (stabs a knife) “M..My King ? What you’re doing ?”

The King : “I’ll never let any person injure her. Run, run So-Hwa ssi ! You may not be dead in front of me ! Run !”

(The Queen run and Lady Jin-Yi run after her)

The Queen : “Where must I go now.. I can’t let In-Woo in danger.”

C. Spiritualist : “My Queen, follow me. I’ll show the way to back to the Palace.”

The Queen : “How can I come back to there ? I’m a Monster. They know it. Look it..” (surprised) “What’s going on ? I.. How can I turn back be normal when I haven’t drink the blood ?”

C. Spiritualist : “That’s a reason why I want to ask you to come back again.”

The Queen : “H..hh.how can ? How can be like this ?”

C. Spiritualist : That’s the reason why I haven’t told The King about you in the truth. You are not a real Gumiho. You just continuing your mother’s damnation. You will not live be a normal woman until you find a man who really loved you however he know your condition.”

The Queen : “So..?”

C.Spiritualist : “That’s mean The King really love you, My Queen. You become a normal woman now. There is no reason you must go out again. Let’s be home and take care of The King.”

At the Palace

Queen Mother : “My King.. You must be more carefully. Don’t go anywhere without your solders.”

The King : “Yes, Mother. I’m sorry because I make you worried.”

The Queen : “My King, Queen Mother,”

Queen Mother : “My Queen, from where you are ? We search you anywhere.”

The Queen : “I go astern when try to run from Lady Jin-Yi. Luckily I meet the Spiritualist and he told me the way to here. I’m sorry.”

(Lady Jin-Yi come)

Lady Jin-Yi : “Queen Mother, don’t be closed to that monster ! She is a monster !”

Queen Mother : “I didn’t see other monster here except you. A woman who able to injure her husband because of jealous substantially similiar as a Monster !”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Look at me Queen Mother. I’ll show you what is this woman in the truth.” (threw the powder)

The King : “There was nothing happen to The Queen. You are a liar and a criminal, Lady Jin-Yi ! I’ll punish you with send you back to your Father. And I’ll tell him what was you do here. I’ll let him administer justice for you.”

Lady Jin-Yi : “Please forgive me, My King.”

The King : “And you ! You’ve join together with her plan. I’ll punish you with lifelong imprisonment !”

Lady-in-waiting : “I’m sorry, My King. Please forgive me.”

Queen Mother : “Let’s rest on your bed, My Queen. You must be so frightened at this condition.Spiritualist, let The King to his room.”

C. Spiritualist : “Yes, My Queen. Let’s go, My king.”

Finally, there is nothing happen to the live of The Queen. The King accept her whatever her condition. But how very happy him when he know that his Queen have been a normal woman. And what happened in the past be a secret between them. She can live happily with  The King in the palace forever.
